moon sign: a poetry collection

ABOUT THE BOOK

i wrote these poems as part of a journey of healing & processing. i wrote these poems for us, for queers on journeys of healing into more of themselves — cracking open, coming home, falling apart, coming together, softening, unfolding, unfurling, becoming.

moon sign is a story of death and rebirth.

it’s a documentation of coming home, of the integration of fragmented parts of self. it’s a story of the liberation of wholeness and embodied queerness. it’s about becoming more of ourselves and making lives that fit. it’s a story of survival and becoming, and what we find when we become who we actually are.

these poems explore hunger as a driving force. they wander into the corners and caverns of the unfolding self and ask who am i? and why? they ask, is that really me? they are rooted in a desire to become more of ourselves and they ask: what does it take to get there? what happens along the way? when you stop trying to not fall apart, what is left? where do you go from here, and what do you make?

that’s me, the author!
