a meditation album intended to support your healing from dogmatic religion through your body, your subconscious, and your feelings

introducing: the religious trauma meditation album

A meditation album intended to support your healing from dogmatic religion through your body, your subconscious, and your feelings.

A complement to the Religious Trauma workbook or a helpful tool all on its own, these meditations are meant to be a soft place for your child self to rest. For your heart to rest. For your pain to rest. For the fragmented parts of yourself to rest.

These meditations draw on my personal experiences with healing around my religious upbringing as well as my work as a facilitator of breathwork, meditation, and energy work for the past 5 years.

Meditations included are:

  • Finding a Safe Place in Your Body to Rest (14:08)

  • Sensing In Your Body What’s Yours and What’s Not (12:40)

  • Having Tea with Your Demons (12:32)

  • Presencing Yourself with Shame (7:34)

  • Tonglen (15:44)

  • Holding Guilt & Forgiving Yourself Breathwork (16:52)

  • Sitting with Uncertainty (18:21)

  • Holding Space for Grief (18:06)

  • Inner Child Healing (23:28)

  • Connecting with a Pre-Christian Ancestor (21:52)

  • Opening to Infinite Possibilities Breathwork (15:30)

  • Sensing Your Core Goodness (17:20)

  • Expanding Self-Worth Breathwork (18:46)

  • Self-Trust Breathwork (12:37)

  • Embodying and Affirming Your Authentic Self (20:26)

  • Reclamation Breathwork (14:40)

  • Embodied Pleasure Breathwork (15:51)

If you grew up in a religious environment you’ve left but still find it’s impacting your ability to be yourself and live your life the way you want, I invite you to access the album in Teachable now. You can also bundle the album with the Religious Trauma workbook, which makes a great accompaniment to the meditations in the album!

Wow! What a wonderful guide Eryn is. I have experienced breathwork once before in real life and it was very powerful. With Eryn I’ve had so many different experiences. The Summer Solstice New Moon Eclipse was next level. I had so much come up for me, so much healing, and inner child work came through. I can’t even express it all into words, but thank you so much for sharing your gift.

why meditation and breathwork?

In my personal experience with breathwork and meditation & my years as a facilitator of these practices, I’ve found that breath can be an access point to more of ourselves. That’s really why I love it. It’s not a one-time fix, it’s not going to heal all your trauma (there is no one thing), it’s not going to be the cure-all you’ve been looking for to finally fix yourself. That thing doesn’t actually exist.

But breathwork and meditation are about cultivating deep relationship with breath, body, and ourselves — deepening our capacity to be present with our hearts, our feelings, and our bodies. They help us tap into the nonlinear, the wordless, the sensory, the pain we hold in our bodies that’s beyond linear narrative and story.

This album is intended to support you in touching some of your tenderest places, and working with them in order to embody yourself more fully. We can’t erase trauma, but we can grow with it and grow around it. These meditations are here to support that process.

Through the meditations, you’ll be guided to:

  • Access a sense of safety in your body

  • Grieve and process your experiences and feelings

  • Welcome home the parts of yourself that dogmatic religion asked you to sacrifice - like your wildness, your ambition, your desires, your authentic sexual expression

  • Deepen self-trust and compassion

  • Sit with uncertainty

  • Connect with your inherent goodness and worthiness

  • Embody, affirm, and reclaim your authentic self

Eryn has a gentle yet powerful energy about her. I did my first breath work session with her and it was some of the most potent medicine I have ever experienced. She held a space where I felt safe to process through some of my deepest trauma. If you are questioning if you should work with her - let me just say you will not regret it. I am super grateful to have found her work!
