Ep. #73: Wild Heart Ayesha Ophelia on Creating a Playground for Magic, Cannabis as a Tool for Connection with Spirit, and Being a Bridge Between the Sun and Moon

Creator of the Girlfriend Manifesto Ayesha Ophelia

“Whenever I bring this element of the unknown into my life it’s almost like a playground for magic.”

Ayesha Ophelia is the creator of The Girlfriend Manifesto, a women's space for inspired living. Her personal manifesto consists of a strong sisterhood, spirituality, a radical self love practice, and adventure.

She moonlights as a creative consultant with an emphasis on online marketing, social media, and graphic design. Holy Rebellion is her Youtube channel where she shares inspired content that speaks to the union of our sacred/holy and human selves.

Her longterm intentions include a healing center, book, and deep dive into the alchemy of entheogenic plants. The dream of her life is to be a full time mystic encouraging people (especially women) to have the courage to expand into new and different realities.

“To me a wild heart is someone who is really in tune and listening to that part of ourselves. It’s wild, its illogical. It might tell us to leave a relationship that looks good on paper. It might tell us to move across the country. It might tell us to do things that seem illogical. And wildness is illogical. But it’s a thread that I always pull on, it’s a thread that I want to follow.”

I found Ayesha through the amazing Wild Hearts Symposium she hosted this year, which we talk about in the episode, and I knew I had to have her on the show.

“You just have to get curious about your intuition and how it speaks to you because it’s different for everybody. Use your body. Your body is such a wise tool, beacon.”

In this episode, we talk about:

  • How she is firmly rooted into the womxn’s space

  • What adventure & freedom look like to her and how she brings them into her life every day

  • Her journey with plant medicine

  • How she creates ritual and ceremony around cannabis

  • Simplifying ritual and practice

  • What she learned from the Symposium of Wild Hearts

  • Being a channel for things to come through her

  • What it means to be a wild heart

  • How she works with her fear

  • Her dreamwork practice & advice on getting started with dreamwork

  • Deprogramming your subconscious & why it’s so important

  • Fixed sign energy, and more!

“I feel like in order to get into the subconscious, the dark you have to go through a mini death. And most of us don’t want to let go of our grip on reality.”
